Susan Tieche, BS, OT/L is a licensed occupational therapist with extensive experience across pediatric and adult populations. She holds degrees in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Early in her career, she worked with adults in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care, gaining experience in acute care, psychiatry, orthopedic rehab, and hand therapy.
Since 1999, Susan has specialized in pediatric occupational therapy, founding her private practice at ITS for Children and Families, Inc. in 2002. There, she collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support school-aged children in sensory-motor development, visual-vestibular and auditory processing, attention, and self-regulation. She is SIPT certified and trained in Therapeutic Listening, iLs, The Listening Program, Interactive Metronome, and visual processing strategies.
In 2012, Susan became a Cranial-Sacral Therapist, integrating Dynamic Body Balancing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed techniques to treat individuals of all ages, including pregnant women and infants. Her holistic approach supports physical alignment, emotional regulation, and academic readiness through bodywork and sensory integration.
Susan is currently teaching the 100-Hour Dynamic Body Balancing Series in Silver Spring, MD.
