Educational Philosophy, Mission & Program Description
Philosophy
As humans continually adapt to the physical, emotional, chemical, and energetic demands of life, we are always striving to maintain a state of dynamic balance. Dynamic Body Balancing (DBB) supports this process—helping the body restore equilibrium despite the gravitational and environmental forces that challenge it.
Mission Statement
The mission of these teachings is twofold:
- To educate bodyworkers, chiropractors, therapists, parents, and other professionals in principles grounded in anatomy, physiology, and craniosacral therapy.
- To provide experiential training in Dynamic Body Balancing techniques that encourage the body’s innate ability to return to a state of harmony and homeostasis.
Program Description
This 100-hour, five-level program trains participants to identify and address imbalances throughout the body—from the cranium to the lower extremities.
Attendees gain the confidence to work with patients of all ages, including pregnant women and children, through hands-on, interactive techniques. Because the DBB approach is performed with clients fully clothed, it is versatile, respectful, and easily adaptable to many settings.
What is Dynamic Body Balancing?
Dynamic Body Balancing integrates craniosacral therapy, myofascial unwinding, and biofield therapies into a unified method of care that restores balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
Class Overview
Level I—The Language of Fascia
This foundational level introduces participants to the structure and function of fascial tissue and teaches how to “listen” to the body’s subtle communication cues. Through guided movement exercises, students learn to facilitate myofascial releases of the pelvis, extremities, torso, and spinal canal—beginning their own journey toward balance and awareness.
Level II—Integrating Cranial Anatomy
Building on Level I, students learn cranial anatomy and combine craniosacral protocols with myofascial techniques. Participants create a tactile cranial model and practice balancing the craniosacral system in seated and supine positions.
This class explores the autonomic nervous system and introduces chakra balancing for deeper energetic harmony throughout the body.
Level III—Pregnancy and Prevention of Trauma
At this stage, students apply their skills toward the care of pregnant women. Drawing from decades of clinical and birth experience, our Instructors share effective techniques for preventing trauma, easing discomfort, and supporting balance during pregnancy. Participants learn methods to address back pain, premature contractions, dystocia, and other challenges.
Level IV—Birth and Pediatric Application
Continuing from Level III, this class focuses on the biomechanics of birth and the use of reflexes that guide movement through the birth canal. Participants learn to identify and treat cranial distortions and persistent primitive reflexes. Hands-on practice builds confidence in caring for infants and children using gentle, precise cranial holds.
Level V—Facial and Intra-Oral Cranial Work
In the final level, facilitators learn to balance the facial bones and structures of the mouth to restore harmony throughout the body. This work supports the release of emotional and physical tension rooted in trauma, dental procedures, or facial injury. Participants finish the series equipped to help clients achieve peace and integration at every level.
